Getting into the Green Scene

There is something refreshing about a New Year. It provides us with new resolutions and new beginnings. Some of these resolutions we’ll stick with, and some we’ll push aside and forget about. However, this year consider the following New Year’s Resolution: Go Green.

Let’s face it, exhibits and exhibiting can have a tremendous impact on the environment. By making subtle changes to your display booths by simply going green, your booths can be both eco-friendly and eye catching.

You might ask yourself, “Where can I find materials that are eco-friendly that will efficiently display my booth exhibit?” Well when looking for materials for your display opt for recycled products. Such products may include:  aluminum, plastic bottles, industrial plastics, and wood. Along with these great recyclables, naturally renewable resources are becoming increasingly popular and are making their debut in many trade show exhibits. Specifically, these include: sorghum, eucalyptus, and bamboo (which seem to be most popular).

Want to try this out? For an eye catching display, try using bamboo and embellish it with other recyclables like, aluminum and other industrial plastics. This will make your display distinctive and really impress attendees and passersby’s making them want to stop by and check out your booth!

Want to go even greener? Well, another increasingly popular trend that is going on in the green world is using computers and ipads to display information at your booth exhibits rather than handing out endless brochures and flyers. Not only is this idea eco-friendly, but it also can display other previously completed trade shows with your products and really give you something to boost about and be proud of!

And remember, it pays to be green!
